Meg Ella
Singer, cellist and pianist Meg Ella grew up in rural West Wales by the sea. Moving to London she established herself as a sought after multidisciplinary collaborator with credits as a performer, arranger, conductor & Musical Director with Florence and the Machine, ABBA Voyage, Jools Holland, Patrick Watson, Emeli Sandé, Sir Tom Jones, Jules Buckley & BBC Symphony Orchestra, John Grant, Basement Jaxx, Nitin Sawhney, Imogen Heap and more.
Her intimate debut EP, The Familiar, with songs exploring the quiet impact of new experiences, both good and bad, was championed by Jools Holland, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio London, BBC Introducing & supported by Arts Council England.
Arthur Newell
Arthur Newell is a multi-instrumentalist and composer, writing predominantly for classical guitar. He will be presenting music from his upcoming second EP, and will be joined by double bassist Jonny Wickham. The music explores connections between a background in European classical and jazz with his own family heritage of Italian folk song.
