Nightjars Walk

Medway RSPB Group will be leading a Nightjar Evening Walk at 8:30pm on Saturday 6th June, at Kings Wood Challock. All welcome

Due to possible parking issues could we ask that if you are wishing to come you email [email protected] so that we can get an estimate of numbers. Depending on how many people are expected we can determine which car park would be most suitable to meet at.

Once we have rough numbers we will advise those who have emailed which car park we are meeting at.

Please wear reasonable walking shoes as although the walk is generally flat it is stony and walking back in the dark it is not so easy to see uneven ground. A torch would also be useful. Come prepared for the temperature to drop as night falls, also bear in mind midges will be about – hopefully no mosquitoes. Expect to be out until 10:15 to 10:30pm.
