About this Event
Night of Ideas 2025 will feature late-night discussions on major global issues, complemented by live music, screenings, and performances—all centered around this year’s theme: “Common Ground.” Exploring both its literal and metaphorical meanings, the event invites participants to consider how we can commit to and protect what we have in common.
Atlanta’s edition will question how we live in cities and embrace the diversity of worlds, addressing three key questions:
- To what extent does Atlanta serve as common ground for its many communities?
- How can artists, institutions, and cultural spaces forge new shared spaces?
- How can AI and digital innovation support collective creativity and human diversity?
Programming highlights include the exhibition Our Mothers, Our Waters, Our Peace by artist Gyun Hur (presented by Flux Projects), MedusAI, an installation by Georgia Tech’s Gil Weinberg, a special radio show co-created with WABE journalist Rose Scott, and contributions from distinguished French participants: writer Walid Hajar Rachedi, filmmaker and author Mame-Fatou Niang, cultural leader Alban-Corbier Labasse, and historian-curator Pierre Singaravélou.
