P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Nick Green to celebrate and discuss his new book How to Watch Soccer Like a Genius; a brilliant and entertaining deconstruction of the most popular sport in the world, just in time for the 2026 World Cup in North America, from the bestselling author of How to Watch Basketball Like a Genius.
Nick will be joined in conversation by Jen Doll, author of That's Debatable. Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Nick will also sign copies of his book.
Doors open at 6:30pm with the talk starting closer to 7pm. Come early and grab a drink from the !

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Nick Greene is an acclaimed writer celebrated for his inventive approach to sports and culture. He is theauthor of How to Watch Basketball Like a Genius, a book praised for its witty, interdisciplinary exploration of basketball. Greene’s work has appeared in Slate, The Washington Post, and Chicago magazine. He has covered everything from NBA and NFL analysis to quirky lifestyle experiments—such as riding the entire New York subway in one day and negotiatng his internet bill using Sun Tzu’s The Art of War.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR
Jen Doll is the award-winning author of three books: The memoir Save the Date: The Mortifications of a Serial Wedding Guest and two young adult novels, That’s Debatable and Unclaimed Baggage. Throughout her multi-decade career, she’s written for publications including the Atlantic, the New York Times, New York, GQ, Marie Claire, and the Village Voice. Jen is currently working on a novel, this one for adults.
