About this Event
Nexus was founded to bridge the gap between raw talent and institutional access. After a successful, independently funded first edition, we are back to celebrate the intersection of music, dance, and film within the San Diego/Tijuana creative space.
The Lineup ✨
We’ve curated a high-level experience that explores the boundaries of genre and movement:
• 5 Musical Acts: A journey through sound ranging from contemporary Pop to rich, non-Western instrumentation.
• 2 Dance Performances: A captivating contrast of storytelling featuring both Classical Ballet and Hip-Hop.
• 2 Short Film Screenings: Immersive visual stories from local filmmakers.
•1 Poet: Heartfelt message that will resonate.
Why Attend?
The playing field in the arts is often disproportionate due to a lack of accessibility and control. Nexus exists to balance that scale. By attending, you are supporting a movement dedicated to equity in the arts and providing the resources emergent artists need to thrive.
