LISA TUI - celebrated singer, song writer and multi disciplinary artist whose work spans genres from jazz and folk to gospel and blues . A graduate of Performing Arts (Music Theatre) and a former creative resident at Te Matatiki Toi Ora at the arts Centre . Lisa's practice is a quest to share stories and foster connection .
THE WILDFLOWERS - The Wildflowers are Anna McVeigh and Emma Rodriguez Dos Santos and they hail from South Brighton where they met nearly 8 years ago collecting rubbish to try and help clean up the beach and discovered their mutual love for singing . They do covers from an eclectic mix of bands and songs and have written a few of their own songs
They love nothing to celebrate different languages , through bi-lingual pieces and songs in te reo and enjoy having the audience join in with percussion and voice at gigs on public holidays . Not so new to performing now, they can found at markets here and there around Canterbury and community events in Brighton when they get the chance .They hope to inspire others to follow their dreams and the wild and imperfect flowers they are .
THE BOBPATS - Bob Wilsea Smith is an accomplished songwriter with a line in quirky Britpop influenced tunes . Originally from Nottingham (England) or Mars perhaps . Bob has spent time on Australia and New Zealand after moving to this side of the world playing in Bands on both sides of the globe .
Patrick Doyle is a veteran of the Christchurch music scene having played solo and in a variety of bands since the 1970s . Patrick likes nothing better than a good melody with harmony thrown in no matter who wrote it .
Put the two together and you have The Bobpats who will sing and play together and prove that 2 prima donnas are always better than one !
