Join amarElas at Boteco Brasil for “Axé to Start the Year”, a New Year’s Eve party inspired by Brazilian traditions of colours, wishes and good vibes.
This is an intimate night with only 50 tickets – think warm, friendly, a little bit magical and very Brazilian.

In Brazil, many people choose the colour they wear on New Year’s Eve based on what they want to attract for the year ahead.
There’s no dress code for this party – wear whatever makes you feel good – but if you want to join the tradition, you can choose:
- Yellow – prosperity & abundance
- Red – passion & romance
- Green – health & new beginnings
- Blue/White – peace & calm
- Pink – self-love
- Purple – intuition & spirituality
Come as you are, bring your favourite colour, and we’ll bring the axé. ✨
About amarElas
amarElas is a Brazilian all-female band based in Vancouver, created by women who love singing, playing and sharing Brazilian music with the world.
Their live set mixes Brazilian rhythms, classics and modern favourites with a lot of heart, inviting the audience to sing, dance and feel at home – whether you’re Brazilian, Latin, or just curious to experience a Brazilian New Year’s Eve.
About Boteco Brasil & food/drinks
Boteco Brasil is one of Vancouver’s coziest Brazilian spots – a true boteco where people gather for good food, cold drinks and conversation. Expect a relaxed, authentic atmosphere with plenty of Brazilian flavours.
Your ticket includes entry to the party and live music only.
Food and drinks are not included and will be available to purchase directly from Boteco Brasil throughout the night.
We’ll keep the room dancing, singing and celebrating as we cross into 2026 together.
Families & kids
Families are welcome at this event. Children aged 4–12 will need a Child Ticket.
Children 3 and under can attend for free and do not need a ticket, but must stay with their parent or legal guardian at all times. Please note this is a late-night live-music event in a restaurant/bar setting – consider your child’s comfort with sound and schedule.
