Event description
This evening workshop offers a gentle New Year reset, bringing together meditation, healing Reiki energy, reflection, and creativity. Held within an art gallery space, the session draws on the atmosphere of the gallery to support intuition, imagination, and openness. No previous experience of meditation or Reiki is needed. An opportunity to pause, reset, and set supportive wellbeing intentions for the year ahead.
What to expect
Gentle breathing and grounding, guided reflection and intention setting, water based visualisation, an introduction to Reiki energy and the chakra system, intuitive work with colour and crystals, group Reiki with optional light touch, time for writing or drawing, and a grounding closing ritual.
What to bring
Bring a yoga mat or cushion to sit on, a cosy blanket and a notebook to write in.
About the facilitator
Emily Wood Ahmed is a trained Reiki healing practitioner, qualified in 2006 in India and the UK. Alongside her Reiki practice, she is a visual artist, community facilitator, and researcher based in North London. Her work brings together healing energy, creativity, mindfulness, and care, creating accessible and supportive spaces for people to slow down and reconnect.
Individual Reiki sessions
Reiki is a gentle, hands on energy healing practice that supports relaxation, stress reduction, and overall wellbeing. Emily offers one to one Reiki sessions at a holistic healing centre in Wood Green, North London. Treatments are £70 for a one hour session, or two sessions for £120.
