About this Event
Join MCFB to celebrate the New Year! The practice of coming together in the cold and dark months to celebrate with music and dance promotes wellbeing and community-building. Whether itโs your first ceilidh or your fiftieth, every step is welcome.
Mission Statement
Multi-Cultural Family Base aims to honour and uphold the lives of ethnically diverse children, young people, and their families who experience systemic barriers and social isolation. We do this directly through tailored one-to-one casework and therapeutic group work. We also educate and support the holistic development of professionals in a range of vocations. Through all of this work, we advocate and push for structural change.
Values Statement
Multi-Cultural Family Base is an anti-racist and anti-oppressive organisation. We are passionate about promoting human rights, valuing diversity, providingequitable opportunities, and working in a way which is compassionate, responsive, respectful, and re-empowering. Multi-Cultural Family Base is committed to involving service users and stakeholders in co-production of service planning and provision.
