On May 31, we kick off our first summer sermon series, A Bigger Table, in which we will explore the gospel (good news) as understood by other faiths.This series is not designed to be a Christian apologetics course, nor an attempt to “win” or colonize others with our faith. Instead, we want to approach other religions with curiosity, humility, and openness, asking what we might learn from the perspectives, practices, wisdom, and experiences of people around the world.
Alongside the Sunday series, we’ll also launch a 6-week companion series on The Deconstruction Zone Podcast, featuring conversations with people from a wide range of faith traditions as we explore what can emerge through honest dialogue and shared humanity.
Ultimately, our hope is simple: to create a bigger table. One where curiosity is welcomed, conversation is sacred, and we grow deeper in our understanding of both our own faith and the diverse world around us.
