In the lead up to our next record "Music for Frogs" New Nausea are playing a bunch of shows, this time at The Bird with Arrester Bed and Montana. Both these acts are outstanding. Montana has recently supported Wilson Tanner at their performance for Arrival Fest, their music is a beautiful and ever-shifting exploration of organic and electronic sound. A gorgeous way to start the evening, playing from 9pm.
Arrester Bed weaves another sort of magic, with Harry Manson's direct, crystal clear and achingly human songwriting given even its full form by one of the most tasteful backing bands going. No over-ornamentation, just really really good and attentive writing and playing, you're in for a treat! They play from 10pm.
New Nausea will be playing from 11pm, sharing a load of songs from the next record "Music for Frogs" and well as tunes from the first record "Fountain of Struth". As per usual, you can expect a range of moods and sounds, from ornate and gentle folk songs to more energetic tracks like "Flag" and "Bright Bloody Blue".
Taking place, of course, on Wadjuk Noongar land, in Boorloo. Our respect to them now and always.
Hope to see you there. Doors from 8PM. $15.
