About this Event

Ceremonial-grade Cacao is known to be a food rich in potent minerals that increase the blood flow to the brain and calms the nervous system. It contains very little caffeine and it is high on theobromine - a compound that gently stimulates the release of serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins to help boost our mood and focus, reduce stress, and aid digestion.
For centuries, Cacao has been used as as a form of celebration, ritual, food source, and ceremony. The benefits of drinking Cacao are not only a way of connecting with our mind and body, but also a way of connecting to nature and the earth.
Guided by ancestral traditions, this ceremony provides a nurturing space for self-discovery, reflection, and heart-centered connection. Join us as we create a harmonious atmosphere, weaving together the healing properties of cacao through guided meditation, intention setting, breath, song, and sound. This is a practice that embraces gratitude as a way of grounding ourselves to the present moment.
For this ceremony, we will offer ceremonial grade Cacao from the Zoque Rainforest in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. This cacao is grown sustainably by the Zoque indigenous community, descendants of the Maya and Olmec people.
About the facilitator:
Deni grew up in Mexico, where cacao and chocolate are rooted deep in its culture, just like the cacao roots in the earth. Through ancestral tradition, she continues to honor the lineage and spirit of cacao, fostering connection, mindfulness, and a deeper understanding of its benefits for our health and well-being.
