If you have always wanted to sing with the North Coast Men's Chorus - here's your chance! We are holding Vocal Placements for new members on Sunday, January 4 & 11 between 6pm and 6:45pm. This is for our Shoeless concert to be held at the Maltz Performing Arts Center on March 14 & 15, with special guest star, Nina West. We like to use the term "vocal placements" instead of auditions because it is a more accurate term for what happens. When you arrive, you will fill out a bit of paperwork and then talk with Rich Cole, our Artistic Director, to do a vocal placement. Rich will play a few notes on the piano to assess your vocal range and ask you to match some pitches. That is the extent of the placement. So easy! Rich will assign you to a section and from there you will meet your section leaders who can help you get acquainted with the people in your section and what to expect from a rehearsal.
Weekly rehearsals are held Sunday evenings from 6:30 – 9:30pm at Middleburg Heights Community Church of Christ, 7165 Big Creek Parkway, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130.
We welcome cisgender men, transgender men, and non-binary singers of all sexualities who can sing in the Tenor, Bass, or Baritone range. If you need assistance with transportation, please do not hesitate to reach out and we can see what is possible!
