Join us for a special night of live music from the Craig Gildner Quartet ft. Seth Kibel! Before the social dance, at 8pm, we will also have two special one-off classes:
[Lindy Hop Partnering Technique and Flow]
Dig into the details of how to communicate in the dance by refining your leading/following technique. We will practice making clear choices in your traveling and rhythm, giving the partnership more options for how to put moves together and flow through your momentum. This is an all-levels class requiring knowledge of 6-count basics.
[Switch Dancing in Lindy Hop]
Learn smooth ways to switch dance roles with your partner mid-dance! If you have explored both leading and following in Lindy Hop, this class will teach you specific switching strategies and allow you to play and invent your own switches by delving into the differences in role technique and mindset.
Prerequisites: This class requires solid comfort with one role and a basic ability to do standard Lindy Hop moves in the other role including vocabulary such as 6-count basics in open and closed, send outs, side passes, tuck turns, and circles.

SCHEDULE:
All classes (including a drop-in beginner lesson which is included with your admission) run from 8pm to 9pm. Then practice what you've learned to the music from 9pm to 11pm.
