New Collectors Art& Studio Ceramics

Art+Object is pleased to present our June auction of New Collectors Art & Studio Ceramics.
Featuring a wide selection of artworks from leading New Zealand artists including Robin White, Ralph Hotere, Fiona Pardington, Don Binney, Stephen Bambury, Karl Maughan, a collection of paintings by Paul Jackson, Virginia Leonard, Gordon Walters, Philippa Blair and Gretchen Albrecht. Also included is a collection of international street art featuring works by Banksy, Martin Whatson and The Connor Brothers.
The studio ceramics section includes items from the estate of Sir Tom Clark (1916–2005), who was the driving force in the development of Crown Lynn. The collection includes ceramics by Clark’s good friend and aunt Briar Gardner, along with some early Crown Lynn, pieces by Ted Dutch and some of the winners of the annual Fletcher-Brownbuilt Pottery Awards over the years.
The catalogue will be on view today from Thursday, 4th June through to Tuesday, 9th June.
This is a timed online auction, which will begin closing with lot 1 from 6pm on Tuesday 9 June. Thereafter, lots will close consecutively every 15 seconds until completion. If a lot receives a bid within the last two minutes, it will auto-extend until no further bids are placed, without holding up the rest of the auction.
