About this Event

Welcome to the New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra's presentation of Dvořák's Symphony No. 8! Join us at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space for an evening filled with beautiful music. The orchestra will again be led by Georgia Mills and our soloist will be violinist Raina Arnett, who will be performing Ravel's Tzigane, which Ravel referred to as "a virtuoso piece in the style of a Hungarian rhapsody." The orchestra will open with Coleridge-Taylor's Ballade for Orchestra, and will finish with the magical Dvořák's 8th Symphony.
