Daniel Colalillo (MM Mannes) is a NYC-based classical pianist known for his dynamic performances of both traditional and contemporary music. He is the Founder & Artistic Director of Classical Keys, a chamber music concert series in NJ & NYC which has featured top artists from Juilliard, MSM, the NY Philharmonic and Met Opera. Daniel serves on the Musician’s Council Board of Groupmuse and was named Top Piano Teacher by Steinway & Sons. His debut album Mostly Scriabin, has been widely praised.
Daniel has toured major cities across the US and Canada where he has performed concertos with orchestras and given recitals at prestigious venues. A champion of new music, Daniel has given dozens of premieres. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he launched the “Pandemic Piano Preludes” project, commissioning five composers to write preludes alongside standard and hidden gems of the repertoire. Daniel started the piano at the late age of 15 and quickly rose to prominence. Next March, Daniel makes his solo debut at Carnegie Hall, premiering Lowell Liebermann’s Piano Sonata No. 4.

Violinist Suliman Tekalli has established his voice as an exciting and versatile concerto soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. As the top-prize winner of the Seoul International Music Competition and prize winner in the Sendai International Music Competition, International Violin Competition “Rudolfo Lipizer Prize” and the Henryk Szeryng International Competition, Suliman has performed throughout the US, Canada, Central America, Europe, and Asia, appearing on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Seoul Arts Center, Wigmore Hall, and the Kennedy Center among others. His performances have been broadcasted on KBS World TV in Korea, CBC Radio 3 in Canada, and WQXR and NPR in the U.S. An exponent of chamber music, Suliman has made appearances at numerous festivals, including Music@Menlo, Yellow Barn, and the Banff Centre. Suliman has also served as concertmaster of numerous critically acclaimed conductorless ensembles including the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, the Sphinx Virtuosi, and the International Sejong Soloists of which he is currently a principal member. As a composer, arranger, and performer, Suliman has transcribed and orchestrated classical and contemporary works for groups such as the Grammy Award-winning Catalyst String Quartet, Carnegie Hall’s Ensemble Connect, and Sejong. As an alumnus of Carnegie Hall’s Ensemble Connect, Mr. Tekalli is a strong advocate of teaching artistry and bringing classical music to underserved communities. He served as a Teaching Artist at the Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn, as well as performed and taught at numerous Title I schools throughout the NYC area. As a CME Artist, Suliman has appeared as a soloist performing with the Vienna International Orchestra in Austria as well as in chamber music concerts in Vienna and Prague. Recent projects have included recordings on the recently released CD CME Presents Art of Transcription, which features his own violin and piano transcriptions as well as for mixed instrumentation. He currently performs on a 2016 Joseph Curtin and resides in New York City.

Julian Schwarz was born to a multigenerational musical family in 1991. Heralded from a young age as a cellist destined to rank among the greatest of the 21st century, Julian’s powerful tone, effortless virtuosity, and extraordinarily large color palate are hallmarks of his style. After making his concerto debut at the age of 11 with the Seattle Symphony and his father Gerard Schwarz on the podium, he made his US touring debut with the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra in 2010. Since being awarded first prize at the inaugural Schoenfeld International String Competition in 2013, he has led an active career as soloist, performing with the symphony orchestras of Annapolis, Boise, Buffalo, Charlotte, Columbus, Delaware, Des Moines, Hartford, Jacksonville, Louisville, Memphis, Modesto, Omaha, Puerto Rico, Richmond, Rochester, San Antonio, San Jose, Sarasota, Syracuse, Toledo, Tucson, Virginia, West Virginia, Wichita, and Winston- Salem, among many others. As a chamber musician, Mr. Schwarz performs extensively in recital with Marika Bournaki. In 2016 Schwarz & Bournaki were awarded first prize at the inaugural Boulder International Chamber Music Competition’s “The Art of Duo”, and subsequently embarked on an extensive 10-recital tour of China in March 2017. In fall 2023, the duo will give the World Premiere of a Double Concerto by Marcus Norris. Mr. Schwarz is a founding member of the New York based Frisson Ensemble and the Mile-End Trio with violinist Jeff Multer and Ms. Bournaki. He performs frequently at Bargemusic in Brooklyn with violinist Mark Peskanov, on the Frankly Music Series in Milwaukee with violinist Frank Almond, as a member of the Palladium Chamber Players in St Petersburg FL, and has appeared at the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival, Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival, and the Seattle Chamber Music Festival. In addition, he runs programming for the Tuesday evening chamber music series at the Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, NC.

Julian Schwarz is an ardent supporter of new music and has premiered concertos by Richard Danielpour and Samuel Jones (recorded with the All Star Orchestra for public television in 2012, subsequently released as a DVD on Naxos). In the 17-18 season, he gave the world premiere of Lowell Liebermann’s first Cello Concerto with a consortium of six orchestras. Of special note is Mr. Schwarz’s ongoing commitment to the music of Jewish experience, including projects with the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research (music of Joachim Stutschewsky and his circle), the Defiant Requiem Foundation (music of Holocaust composers and their influence) Central Synagogue (yearly feature on Jewish Broadcasting), and the Milken Archive of American Jewish Music—for which he has recorded the complete cello/piano works of Ernest Bloch. A devoted teacher, Mr. Schwarz serves as Associate Professor of Cello at Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University (Winchester, VA), and on the artist faculty of NYU’s Steinhardt School of Music and the Eastern Music Festival. Past faculty appointments include artist-in- residence at the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance (Nova Scotia, Canada), faculty teaching assistant to Joel Krosnick at The Juilliard School, and artist-In?residence at the pianoSonoma Festival. Born in Seattle, WA, Mr. Schwarz studied at the Academy of Music Northwest and the Lakeside School. He continued to the Colburn School in Los Angeles under Ronald Leonard, and then moved to New York City to study with mentor Joel Krosnick at The Juilliard School (BM 14, MM 16).
