About Desi Christou
Desi is an empathetic Mindset coach and an engaging workshop facilitator with professional development credentials spanning more than 15 years. She has a desire to inspire and empower others using the coaching and workshop facilitation skills she has learned and acquired over the last 25 years in her current coaching business and from her 10 + years working behind-the-scenes in TV production with some very well-known TV personalities.
Desi is passionate about helping people grow and develop personally – as well as professionally – enabling them to contribute better to the success of their organisation or to achieve their own personal and professional goals. She has a great wealth of experience and works with people from all walks of life, ranging from young people, employees, managers, small business owners to C-suite executives.
Over the last 15 + years, she has amassed over 8,000 hours in coaching and training experience working with individuals, groups and teams across various industry sectors such as law, recruitment, financial services, women’s networks, information technology, property, construction, accountancy, marketing, sales, broadcasting, charitable organisations, social enterprise and education.
Desi understands how vitally important clear and effective business communication skills are together with a powerful mindset in order to achieve successful commercial outcomes.
She graduated with 99.2% (233 correct answers out of 235 questions) accreditation score for her ABNLP NLP Trainers’ Training certification program in 2009 and achieved one of the highest global scores in the 40-year history of the ABNLP (American Board of NLP) including a gruelling 7-and-a-half-hour exam.
Desi’s manner is nurturing, supportive, empathetic and encouraging. She loves watching people grow, evolve and transform.
In her spare time, Desi enjoys the theatre, country walks, water-sports, maintaining a food blog on Mediterranean cookery and rustling up a variety of creative dishes. She lives in North London with her two young daughters who keep her on her toes!
