Welcome to the Nervous System Workbook Club! Join us for an interactive and engaging workshop at The Peoples Apothecary.
Nobody heals in isolation though much of the work is done there.
This is a unique opportunity to sit in a heart-share amongst a diverse group of practitioners and people who desire the keys to their own nervous system to learn from each other, to heal, to grow and to connect.
This is a self-led workbook on Polyvagal Theory that will take place over the next 10 months. Each month will focus on a section of the book that the participant will have read and practiced the exercises on their own self. Then we gather at The Peoples Apothecary, have some tea and have a heart share about our experience talking-circle style. You can choose to share or not share.
The idea is that we talk about the self-observations, changes, struggles or insights we may experience while working through the material.
In this way, we can learn from each other’s unique lens, stay accountable in getting through the book, look forward to community and connection, and leave with a deeper, more empowered understanding of our own nervous systems and each others, and perhaps even something golden to share with the world around us for having participated.
We will be studying and practicing the self-led exercises in Deb Dana's 'nervous sytem workbook'. The first meeting was a success! Lot's of heart sharing and connection. I started off with an inflammation cycle that got interrupted by the co-regulating and left with an open heart and pain free. Our second meeting will cover the material from pages 36-47. If you don't have a copy you can pick one up at Barnes and Noble or order one online. If you didn't make the first one, YOU'RE STILL WELCOME TO JOIN AT ANY TIME. If you didn't read the material and want to come and sit and connect and learn, YOU'RE STILL WELCOME TO COME. Please RSVP so we can have a good idea of how many to expect.

I hope you can make some or all of our sessions! If you miss a few or don't manage to get through the material, don't worry!- You can still learn something and find nervous system healing through our talk circle and you're welcome to come. You will never be pressured to share and can come and go as you please. Ticket sales go back to People in reciprocity for their generous offering of space.
