Learn how to calm an overactive nervous system and understand the biological factors influencing anxiety in this hands-on workshop.
About this Event

If your mind feels constantly “on,” you feel tightness in your chest, you’re not sleeping well, you’re more easily triggered than usual, social situations feel overwhelming, or even simple tasks feel heavy — this workshop is for you.

Anxiety has become the norm for so many people these days. It is important to know, anxiety is not just mental, it is also physiological and biological. When the nervous system stays activated for long periods of time, your body can begin to interpret ordinary life as a threat. Over time, that activated state becomes your baseline, so even small stressors can feel overwhelming.

In this 2.5-hour immersive workshop, we will work directly with your nervous system using sound, hypnosis, guided imagery, and specific breathing techniques. You’ll feel what happens in your body when nervous system activation decreases and regulation increases. More importantly, you’ll learn how to recreate that shift on your own.

We will also talk about the biological contributors to anxiety. Gut bacteria, vitamin B12 levels, methylation capacity, nutrient status, blood sugar regulation, and environmental stressors can all influence brain chemistry and nervous system stability. Many people are working hard on mindset without realizing there may also be biological factors involved. This portion of the workshop is educational and practical, so you leave with a clearer understanding of what might be influencing you.

The goal of this workshop is to give you tools and understanding so you can regulate your nervous system and create more balance in your everyday life.

What We’ll Cover

We’ll start with simple education on how the autonomic nervous system works and why it can get stuck in activation. From there, we’ll move into practice.

You’ll be guided through:

• A body scan to increase awareness of where tension is being held
• Breathing techniques that help shift the body out of stress physiology
• Sound and guided hypnosis that allows your system to settle more deeply while remaining aware and in control

You will leave with techniques you can use at home, along with practical information about nutrition and environmental factors that may be contributing to ongoing stress responses.

Follow-Up Support

Your registration includes a 1-week follow-up Zoom session.

This gives you space to:

• Ask questions
• Review the techniques
• Talk through what worked and what didn’t

Regulation is built through repetition, and this check-in helps support that process.

Details for the Zoom call will be emailed after the workshop.
