This talk is intended to provide a broader understanding and appreciation of the full scope of J.R.R. Tolkien's interests, scholarship, and imagination, outside of the more familiar Middle-earth legendarium. This will include an overview of Tolkien's lesser known and non-Middle-earth works, including his scholarly writings, children's books, adaptations of medieval literature, and poetry, as well as how these works interact with each other and the more familiar Middle-earth corpus.
