About this Event
Bridging the gap between culinary arts and herbalism, this session introduces participants to foraging as a way to source both food and medicine from their local environment. In addition to identifying medicinal plants and herbs, this class integrates hands-on herbal medicine making alongside a meal preparation experience. Chef Lachelle and Eva showcase how to transform commonly overlooked wild plants into both healing remedies and flavorful dishes. Participants will learn the art of creating an herbal cough syrup while also preparing a shared meal that highlights the nutritional and medicinal properties of these plants.
