About this Event
Guests will be shown examples, then led through the step-by-step process of how to make needle felted figures. We'll start with a sketch, move on to building a core that gets covered with a base, and finally detailing.
There will be plenty of time to allow for self-exploration as well as one-on-one tips and tricks as Nina goes around helping guests achieve their needle-felted vision.
About Charm School: Nina Nightingale's Charm School was founded as a monthly show for Atlas Obscura TV and was part historic arts lecture and part DIY crafting show. Nina was not only host, but writer and creator of each of the crafts, designed for a live audience to be able to follow along at home with household materials.
Since then, Nina has continued a career as a Maker through scenic and props design for theatre, film, brand activations. and escane rooms as well as hosting live workshops at various conventions, most recently GenCon in Indianapolis.
She is also a theatre design professor at DePaul University.
