Australia’s first-ever NBA House Australia will arrive in Melbourne in May, transforming The Timber Yard into a four-day immersive basketball and culture experience from Thursday 14 May – Sunday 17 May 2026, in celebration of the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
Headlining the debut Australian event will be two-time NBA All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. and four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins, who will appear across the four days through fan moments, meet-and-greets and special programming.
Spanning more than 6,000 square metres, NBA House Australia will feature interactive basketball activities, live NBA playoff viewing, gaming zones, music, exclusive merchandise, food and drink, photo opportunities, and appearances from NBA personalities and entertainment talent. Fans can also expect a, live DJs and performances, and family-friendly experiences across both daytime and evening sessions.
Live entertainment across the four day evening sessions will include performances from DJ Nino Brown on Thursday 14 May, Baker Boy on Friday 15 May, 3-on-3 Celebrity Game on Saturday 16 May and Tye Turner on Sunday 17 May. Fans can also expect appearances from the Sacramento Kings Dancers, dunk team performances and team mascot Slamson.
