About the Event:

Join us for a series of monthly workshops designed to gently explore and develop your compassionate mind. Facilitated by Cori Wilkie, the face of KOA and a trauma informed professional, these sessions are grounded in the principles of Compassionate Mind Training (CMT), helping you to navigate life with greater emotional resilience, self understanding and kindness. Cori is a a CMT trained professional with a background in nervous system regulation, somatic work, mindfulness and much more. Find out more about her www.koa-edinburgh.uk

Compassion is not simply a feeling. It is a powerful motivation and practice that supports regulation of the nervous system, greater awareness of our emotional and physical needs, and a stronger ability to express those needs in safe and confident ways. Through compassionate practices, we create the inner conditions for calm, clarity and courage.

Each month will explore a unique theme inspired by the CMT framework, supporting you to develop tools that nurture safety, self compassion and emotional balance.

Monthly Themes and Outline

October 2025 – Understanding the Compassionate Mind

November 2025 – Soothing the Inner Critic

December 2025 – Building the Compassionate Self
Deepen your connection with your compassionate self. Develop imagery and practices that strengthen self soothing, courage and wisdom. Learn how to use the compassionate self to manage difficult emotions and experiences.

January 2026 – Compassion in Action
