About this Event
Join Motherhood & Milk and Valley Psychological Therapy for a calm, nurturing morning. This gentle session offers a chance to slow down, take a breath, and spend some peaceful time together while surrounded by nature (weather permitting!). Through simple grounding activities and soothing practices, mums will be guided through small moments of self-kindness and calm, all while keeping babies close and comfortable.
Early motherhood can be beautiful, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. This session creates a warm, supportive space where mums can reconnect with themselves, share the moment with others, and leave with a few simple tools to bring a little more calm into everyday life.

10:00 – 10:15 Arrival & gentle settling
10:15 – 10:30 Nature grounding activity
10:30 – 10:50 Compassion & calming practices for mums
10:50 – 11:10 Guided relaxation moment
11:10 – 11:25 Connection time with other mums
11:25 – 11:30 Closing nature reflection

Important Information
- Please dress children (and adults!) in weather-appropriate clothing, and comfy closed-toe shoes are recommended.
- Suitable for babies and toddlers.
- Weather permitting, we’ll take a short 2–3 minute stroll into nature during the session. Slings or carriers are recommended for this part to keep babies safe and comfortable, as prams may not be ideal on uneven terrain.
This peaceful morning is all about creating space to pause, breathe, and reconnect, with yourself, your baby, and a community of other mums walking the same journey.
