Join us for a gentle and grounding way to welcome the spring season.
This event can be attended on its own, or can be followed on from our morning walk around the Dene (link below).
🌳If you're coming just for this, we’ll begin with a slow, optional 15-minute walk around, taking time to notice the season, the land, and what’s arising within us. ☀️
🍵 We’ll gather inside the cafe (or outside in the sun if weather is friendly), from where we can grab a warm drink and a sweet treat, settling into a cosy space for reflection and creative journaling. 🍩
📖 The journaling time is open and unpressured. You’re invited to create a journal spread using writing, drawing, collage, painting, pressing, or any combination of materials you enjoy. 🎨
This is not about artistic skill or productivity, it’s about paying attention, setting gentle intentions for the new season, and connecting with yourself and others.
The gathering lasts around 1.5 hours, but you’re very welcome to drop in and out at any point, join for the walk, the journaling, or stay for as long as you like.
This collective gathering is for:

✏️ Gentle intention-setting (no harsh goals, challenges or pressure)
💡 Quiet creativity and noticing
🫂 Warmth, conversation, and community
What you can bring:
📔 A journal, sketchbook or paper
🎨 Any art or writing materials you like (simple is perfect)
🧣 Appropriate clothing for being outside
✨ Curiosity and openness
This is a low-pressure, friendly space: sharing is encouraged but optional, and there’s no “right way” to take part.
Come as you are, stay as long as you feel.
