About this Event
Find out about nature on this guided walk led by Neill Talbot, ecologist. Neill will be helping us to identify trees and shrubs, and spot wildlife. Neill is a popular ecologist with his previous guided walks being described as ‘informative, friendly and educational.’
We'll meet on Sturminster Road, outside the entrance to Robinson House 304 Sturminster Road, Stockwood for 10.30 am.
Please wear weather appropriate clothes (including wet weather clothing)and sturdy shoes. Feel free to bring some refreshments for a break half way through.
Unless the weather is very poor eg heavy rain, snow or thunder and lightening, the walk will go ahead. Should we need to cancel this walk for any of these reasons, we will aim to let you know by 5pm on Friday 10th May.
Accessibility: Most of this walk is off road, sometimes on uneven ground. We will adjust our speed to the slowest in the group and make sure we are all keeping up. This walk would not be suitable to people with impaired mobility, wheelchair users or children in buggies/pushchairs as the ground is uneven and includes some steps and slopes. It may be muddy. Dogs on lead would be welcome. There are no toilets close by. This walk is aimed at adults.
