Nature-themed mindfulness and movement An opportunity to build and enhance meaningful connections with nature through mindfulness and movement
About this Event

What to expect:

How can we nurture our relationship with nature despite cold weather, urban landscapes, and busy schedules?

The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity to build and enhance meaningful connections with nature, yourself, and others through mindfulness and movement. During this event, you will be guided by a professional yoga teacher through active and restorative yoga poses. We will “look within” to explore our imaginative capacity to connect with nature. Part one will include invigorating active yoga movement, and in part two we will conclude with guided relaxing mindfulness. There will also be an opportunity to reflect and discuss the themes explored during this event.

This activity will be suitable for beginners, and poses can be modified to suit your needs and preferences but expect some physical activity. The yoga studio has changerooms, washrooms, and a water fountain to refill your reusable water bottle.

How to find the group:

Please arrive at the Kula Yoga studio approximately 10 to 15 minutes before the class begins to check in and get settled.

What to wear or bring:
