About this Event
Join us on Tuesday 23rd June for a special volunteering and networking event exclusively for people working in the VCFSE sector across Rochdale.
As part of Invasive Species Week, we’ll be spending the day outdoors at the beautiful Boarshaw Clough helping to tackle Himalayan Balsam - an invasive plant species that threatens local biodiversity and river habitats.
From 11am–2pm, volunteers will work together to protect this valuable nature site while also enjoying the chance to connect, collaborate and network with others from across the sector in a relaxed outdoor setting.
No previous experience is needed, and refreshments will be provided.
Come along to make a positive impact for nature, meet like-minded people, and enjoy a rewarding afternoon outdoors.
