About this Event
Explore both horizontal and vertical scenes of the forested landscape with forest forensics and seven layers of the architecture of trees. Work on one landscape rendering or travel the universally accessible trail for several examples of the seven story forest with media of your choice.
What to expect and how to prepare: This event will include up to a 1-mile out-and-back hike on mostly flat trail with some steady but easy inclines. Dress for the weather and bring drinking water. Participants are asked to supply their own sketchbooks, field supplies, and camp chair or sit pads if necessary. No experience required. This is a no judgement zone! This event is recommended for ages 12 and up (participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult). There are port-a-johns available on site.
