About this Event
We are excited to bring Nature Journaling to Gorman Heritage Farm!
Unwind and connect with nature through this relaxing and enjoyable process of documenting the natural world using sketches, poems, and notes. Participants will learn new ways to look at the wonders of nature around them; truly noticing instead of simply seeing.
This class offers the opportunity to slow down and enhance curiosity as you record your observations. No artistic skill needed!
Taught by Ellen Foley, who's love of the land inspires her to create opportunities for others to experience connecting with nature. She has been leading forest bathing programs at various locations in the Cincinnati area for many years and added nature journaling programs in 2023. Ellen is excited about introducing this practice to groups at Gorman Heritage Farm. She has a B.A. in psychology, a master’s in landscape architecture and is a certified Forest Therapy Guide.
