Summer is a wonderful time of year but unfortunately the warm season invites mosquitoes to the party. The most effective repellents are synthetic and toxic to the nervous system, can cause skin irritation and poison waterways. Research has shown that essential oils distilled from plants can deter mosquitos as well as flies, mites and ticks. Learn about the botanicals that repel blood sucking vampires (mosquitoes) while not damaging your health or the environment.
Come for the lecture only or choose to stay and create your own bespoke insect repellent. We'll be blending oils not only for their specific uses but also using perfume blending methods to create perfumed repellents. Being effective at warding off mosquitoes can smell amazing!
