This is our way to celebrate International Mother Language Day. We encourage bilingual children 9-14 years old to deliver a speech in their native language rather than English. Topic: Living and Learning in New Zealand
Age group: 9-15 years old
Main prize: $100
Two runner up prizers: 2x$50
Length of speech: 2-5 mins
Please, show your interest by sending a message to International Club with your email address, the name and the age of your child, the language in which they are going to deliver the speech. We will send you a pack of materials: consent form, instructions on your further actions, etc. The deadline of showing your interest is January 11th.
*Only one representative from each language will be chosen.
*Family of the child suppose to reside in Taranaki
*Parents/Caregivers and the participant suppose to sign a written consent.
* For your child speech to be shortlisted you need to send the signed documents to [email protected]
*Judges are independant and their decision is final and not a subject of any scrutiny or complaint.
Screening of applications is performed by one of the local oratory clubs Ngamotu Breakfast Toastmasters Club. All the applications are screened and shortlisted by the above mentioned club.
