Katerina Gimon’s epic 4-part piece ‘Elements’ runs through the centre of the concert, interspersed with music including Eric Whitacre’s dramatic ‘Learnardo Dreams of his Flying Machine’, Frank Ticheli’s heartfelt ‘Earth Song’ and Morten Lauridsen’s passionate ‘Fire Songs’.
