About this Event
Join Michael, a North Downs Way and GeoPark Ambassador, for a leisurely wellbeing amble on and around the mindful and picturesque areas of Ashford, as part of National Walking Month. (Children and Families Week)
This circular walk starts at Singleton Centre and will take in a stop at the Singleton Environmental Centre, before walking through open fields, woodlands and parklands, and before concluding will encircle the enchanting Singleton lake.
This is an area, where we will be serenaded by a chorus of songbirds and may receive visits from inquisitive butterflies, bees and other insects, especially within the meadows and along the footpaths.
This is a leisurely walk / amble for those who enjoy walking while connecting with nature, which will include some optional mindful stops, storytelling, and poetry.
