The Trail of Truth will call for Immediate Access to Treatment, Non-discriminatory Medical Care, Naloxone distribution and proper spending of the opioid settlement funds. Our goal is to ensure that anyone in the United States who seeks treatment for substance use disorder, would receive access to the type of effective treatment of their choosing, to end discriminatory practices in medical settings towards people who use drugs or suffer from SUD, to ensure broad access to Naloxone, and to direct all pharmaceutical settlement funds related to Substance Use Disorders and overdose fatalities to fund such services in addition to support services for people impacted by SUD.
