National Port and Policy - Tuesday 4th October 2022
Join tory societies and young tories from up and down the country for a one of a kind national port and policy.
After a day at party conference, come and enjoy a friendly yet formal debate. Here you can expect to meet other students of a similar mindset to you and grapple in a battle of wits over a glass of port in the centre of Birmingham. Don’t worry if you have never attended a port and policy before as procedure will be explained at the beginning of the evening.
There will be three motions up for debate which will be released in due course, so please key an eye on the @uobconservative Instagram or Facebook page for more information closer to the time.
This event will be taking place at the Actress and Bishop, less than a stones throw from the ICC! The event space has a private bar.
Please arrive between 1915 and 1930 to ensure you grab a drink and a great seat
before we start debating promptly at 1945.
This event is being held to support the mental health charity Mind so please bring a coins along to take part in the charity raffle to be in with a chance of winning!
Tickets for this event are £3.50. Please purchase a ticket from our eventbrite link:

Please note that you will not be permitted to attend the event if you have not purchased a ticket. There are a limited number of tickets so please purchase as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The dress code is black tie/formal.
Please don't hesitate to get in contact with us on our Facebook or Instagram (@UoB Conservatives) with any questions you may have.
We hope to see you soon!
