The National Osteoporosis experts, The Irish Osteoporosis Society Charity are holding an Osteoporosis and Exercise informational event.
When: Saturday 18th April 2026.
Where: The function room in Kilmacud Crokes, GAA Club Hall in Kilmacud, Glenalbyn, Stillorgan, Dublin A94 E7K8
Time: Registration begins at 9.45am, event ends at 12 noon.
Presentation on Osteoporosis, by Michele O’Brien CEO of the Irish Osteoporosis Society
Tea and Coffee will be available
Followed by a presentation by Mr Aidan Woods, Chartered Physiotherapist on essential information on what exercises are not recommended by him when a person has bone loss.
Followed by a question and answer session by both speakers and Professor Moira O'Brien, Osteoporosis consultant.
Entry to the event is free for Irish Osteoporosis Society charity members.
A donation of €35 for non charity members which all donations go towards the day to day running of the charity services.
Please donate and register on the charity website shop at www.irishosteoporosis.ie and type in " Kilmacud event" in the message box. You will be automatically registered for the event.
