Friday, April 4, 7:00 pm: Opening night- Tarab Night:
An Evening of Arabic Music:The Timeless Songs of Umm Kulthum, Performed by the Talented Nibal Malshi
Get transported to Egypt through the timeless tunes of Umm Kulthum, the legendary Kawkab Al Sharq (Star of the East) and the Diva of Arabic music! Enjoy a mesmerizing performance by Nibal Malshi, bringing the Diva's iconic repertoire to life. The evening begins with a reception at 7 PM featuring a light sampling of authentic Egyptian food, followed by the performance at 8 p.m.

Mustafa Azemmouri is the first known Arab and African explorer of North America. In partnership with the Arab-American Educational Foundation (AAEF), the Arab-American Educational Foundation Center for Arab Studies (CAS) at the University of Houston, and the Moroccan Society of Houston (MSH)
- Friday, April 25, 7:00 p.m.: Reception at 7:00 PM at the ACC, followed by keynote speaker Dr. Abdelkader Jamoussi and a documentary screening on Estevanico

Join us for Ma’amoul Fest, a special Arab Heritage Month celebration filled with culture, tradition, and delicious treats!
What’s Happening?
🍪 Ma’amoul Competition: Arab women from different countries will compete to make the best Ma’amoul! Taste recipes from across the Arab world and vote for your favorite at our country-themed stations.
👩👧👦 Kids’ Ma’amoul Experience: Children can shape their own Ma’amoul, watch them bake, and enjoy the sweet reward fresh from the oven!
📸 Photo Booth with Adam Wa Mishmish crew and Rana: Snap fun pictures with an Adam Wa Mishmish backdrop and meet the beloved Arabic educational show’s cast.
📚 Rana Reads & Arabic Cultural Show: As the excitement builds, Rana Reads will host a special Arabic-American cultural and educational show, featuring a live Adam Wa Mishmish performance—an interactive, musical experience perfect for kids of all ages!
🎉 Celebrate Arab Heritage Month with food, fun, and learning!
