#NashPod's August meetup is Pitch Night! Whether you're just starting your podcast or you have an idea for one, this night is your moment. You'll have one minute to pitch your pod and three minutes for Q&A. No audio or visuals, just bring your enthusiasm and creativity! Spots are limited, so get to the Nashville EC early to sign up. And don't think this is just a night for the newbies. To all you veterans, your insights are super valuable, so make sure you're there to share your wisdom!
Why is this skill important?
Crafting a short elevator pitch early on in the process can be immensely beneficial in getting everyone involved on the same page . A great elevator pitch should briefly touch on what the show is, who it’s for, and why they should listen.
And guess what? The elements that make up a great elevator pitch are the same elements that make up a great podcast intro: brevity and clarity.
