About this Event
The NAPA ReVitalyz Seated Physical Activity Training Programme is a comprehensive initiative aimed at supporting activity and care teams in providing safe and engaging physical activity for the individuals they support. The programme equips participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to facilitate seated physical activity and promote the overall wellbeing of individuals.

One of the primary objectives of the NAPA ReVitalyz programme is to prioritise the safety of individuals. By providing training on proper techniques, body mechanics, and safety considerations, activity and care teams can confidently deliver seated physical activity that minimises the risk of injuries or strains. This promotes a secure and comfortable environment for individuals to engage in physical activity.
The ReVitalyz programme recognises that individuals have varying levels of physical abilities. The training equips activity and care teams with strategies to adapt physical activity to accommodate individuals with limited mobility, joint stiffness, or other physical limitations. This personalised approach ensures that everyone can participate and benefit from the physical activity sessions, promoting inclusivity and individual empowerment.
Regular physical activity has numerous benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, increased strength and flexibility, enhanced mood, and better overall wellbeing. The ReVitalyz programme offers a range of seated physical activity specifically designed to target different muscle groups, improve circulation, and promote joint mobility. By implementing these, activity and care teams can contribute to the physical and mental wellbeing of the individuals they support.
The NAPA ReVitalyz programme serves as a professional development opportunity for activity and care teams. By participating in the training, participants gain valuable knowledge about the benefits of physical activity, techniques for effective facilitation, and strategies for overcoming common challenges. This training empowers activity and care teams, boosting their confidence in providing engaging physical activities that help to improve the overall quality of life.
