About this Event
NAMI Peer-to-Peer Class will be held weekly on Tuesdays starting Feburary 4th, 2024 and ending on March 25th, 2025 from 6pm-8pm (PST).
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a free, eight-session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery.
Taught by trained leaders with lived experience, this program includes activities, discussions and informative videos. However, as with all NAMI programs, it does not include recommendations for treatment approaches.
What You’ll Gain
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a safe, confidential space. The course provides an opportunity for mutual support and growth. Experience compassion and understanding from people who relate to your experiences. This is a place to learn more about recovery in an accepting environment.

- Practice relaxation and stress reduction tools
- Share your story
- Strengthen relationships

- Learn about mental health treatment options
Participants can only miss one of the 8 class dates to still receive a Certificate of Completion. Certificate of Completion is required if you want to become a NAMI Peer-to-Peer Teacher.
Confidentiality: Peer-to-Peer participants discuss personal and sensitive information that requires that privacy and confidentiality be upheld by all participants and facilitators.
