About this Event
Co-Hosted with Jamii Hub at Esplanade.
This event is not just yoga. It is not just music. It is an awakening of the senses through the stages of your own evolution.
We often say, "I am angry" or "I am afraid," fusing our identity with temporary feelings. In this immersive 90-minute workshop, we shift the narrative from "I am" to "I feel."
Think of your body as a vessel and your emotions as water. When life events create blockages, the flow stops. Through Naad Yoga (the yoga of sound) and somatic movement, we use the frequency of specific Swaras to clear the vessel and return to the Witness Self—the part of you that remains steady beneath the noise.
The Journey
We will navigate three defining "Rasas" (emotional essences) of the human life cycle:
- Shringara (The Open Heart): Let go of the protective armor built in youth and reconnect with your softer/ vulnerable side.
- Veera (The Heroic Will): Harness the energy to act with courage and commitment, regardless of the outcome.
- Shanti (The Silent Witness): Transition from the "frazzled" mind into deep peace.
What to Expect
- 30 Mins | Reflection & Awareness: Guided journaling and reflection talk to identify where your emotional flow is currently blocked.
- 45 Mins | Movement & Swara Flow: A yoga sequence supported by a live, specially curated soundscape (Handpan & Voice) designed to shift your energetic state.
- 10 Mins | Dissolution & Stillness: A deep integration through Savasana and silence to meet the Witness within.
- 15 Mins | Interactive Swara Practice: A exploration of note parings that hold power to shift your internal frequency.
What to Bring: A yoga mat, a journal, and an open mind. No prior experience with yoga or music is required—only the willingness to experience.
