Camp Description
Where imagination builds kingdoms and creatures come to life! Mythical Creatures & Magical Worlds is a week-long summer art camp designed for young artists ages 6–11 who love fantasy, storytelling, and hands-on creativity. Through sculpture, drawing, and imaginative design, campers will explore magical worlds while building confidence, problem-solving skills, and creative expression.
Throughout the week, children will sculpt mythical creatures in clay—from dragons to entirely invented beings—focusing on texture and expressive details. Campers will design their own fantasy maps featuring named kingdoms, forests, and magical landmarks, and create magic wands or amulets using mixed materials like cardboard, foil, beads, and paint. The camp also introduces simple paper engineering as students build pop-up castles or enchanted forests that open into interactive, magical scenes.
Hosted at The Hub on Canal, this camp provides a supportive and inclusive environment where imagination is celebrated. Campers are encouraged to dream big, tell stories, and proudly share the magical worlds they bring to life.
Registration & Attendance
All camp registrations are non-refundable. If your child is unable to attend, the registration fee will be treated as a donation to The Hub on Canal and applied toward future student scholarships.
Eligibility
Camp is open to students entering Grades 1–6.
Schedule
Summer Camp runs Tuesday through Friday, from 8:30 AM–2:30 PM.
Arrival & Dismissal
Camp classes end at 2:00 PM. Pick-up takes place between 2:00–2:30 PM.
Children must be signed in and out each day by a parent or legal guardian.
Early/Late Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Alternate Guardians
Advance notice is required for any early or late drop-off or pick-up. Parents must provide the full names of all individuals authorized to drop off or pick up their child. Anyone other than a parent or guardian must present a valid photo ID at pick-up.
