Join us for our first forum of 2025 for two exciting speakers, starting at 19:00:Our first speaker will be Dr Drew Welch, a consultant in Anaesthesia and Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine, with EAAA. He is currently on secondment as the Deputy Medical Director of EEAST. He will be discussing myths in prehospital medicine, and what the evidence-base really is for the learning we use on the road!
Our second speaker is Dr Claire Baker, who is a Research Associate at Imperial College. She completed her PHD in 2023, and was awarded the EPSRC doctoral prize fellowship to continue her pioneering work on trauma biomechanics initiatives. She will be discussing her project, AutoTriage, which looked at predicting TBI in road traffic collisions by using in-vehicle sensors.
Please note this person will be run in person and online. You are welcome join us in the lecture theatre from 18:30.
