Traditional Mysore-style Ashtanga Yoga with Jessica Rovira—personalized guidance, mindful progression, and space for self-discovery.
About this Event

Discover the heart of traditional Ashtanga Yoga through the Mysore method—a self-paced, meditative practice where each student moves through the same sequence at their own level and rhythm.

Unlike a led class, Mysore offers individualized instruction in a group setting. Students receive hands-on adjustments and personalized guidance as they progress through the sequence, developing focus, strength, flexibility, and a deeper connection to self. Over time, your practice becomes a moving meditation—steady, empowering, and profoundly grounding.

How It Works:

  • If you are new to Mysore (even if you’ve taken led Ashtanga), please arrive at 7am for a guided introduction.
  • Doors open at 6am and close at 8am.
  • Experienced Mysore practitioners may arrive anytime after 6am.
  • Please bring your own mat and towel.
  • Practice on an empty stomach and avoid perfumes or lotions.
  • Water bottles and phones must remain outside the practice room in the cubbies.

About Your Teacher - Jessica Rovira
I have been practicing and teaching Yoga for 13+ years. I am ERYT-500 certified by Yoga Alliance. This means I have spent 500+ hours teaching & training yoga practitioners. I teach & practice Ashtanga Yoga which is the traditional style practiced in Mysore, India. I have been trained by a Master of Vedanta Ashtanga, Ajay Kumar. Ashtanga is a set sequence, the practice never changes, it evolves. You get a lot of hands on adjustments and one on one time with me. I teach you from the beginning, and add on at your pace, every time you come. Mysore practice is an opportunity for self-discovery and building a devotional practice.
