About this Event
We may be a small nation, but when it comes to musical heritage we're punching above our weight; from a world-renowned musical folk tradition to internationally-loved acts such as U2, Thin Lizzy, and more, the legacy of Irish music is vast and impressive.
On this tour, your singing, playing, bona fide local musician tour guide will share the story of music in Ireland, both ancient and contemporary, its role in creating a national identity, how it reflected the social, political and cultural happenings of the times, and drove a cultural reawakening here - all while you visit musically and historically important sites, and hear stories of the city through songs and tunes. You'll even learn a song or two and sing along if you like!
Please note, this tour is intended for individuals and small groups. If you are a group of 6 or more, please contact us at dublin(at)generationtours(dot)com before making a booking. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your booking or rejecting your participation on arrival. Please respect this policy to avoid disappointment. Thank you.
