About:
With a powerful sound driven by electric harmonicas, slide guitar, a locomotive rhythm section and strong, inventive songwriting, Ethan Askey & The Elevators move people in body and soul. An emerging voice in the contemporary blues world internationally, Ethan’s versatility and virtuosity as a harmonica player, singer and songwriter has been recognized with awards, nominations, positive reviews and repeat invitations. His debut solo album sustained the attention of radio program hosts around the world, earning a Top 50 position in radio play charts for over 150 weeks. With past experience touring Europe and playing clubs and festivals across North America, Ethan and his brand-new band The Elevators, based in the Canadian Rockies, are touring their own, uplifting brand of "Rocky Mountain roots and boogie blues". They colour outside the lines into funk, swing, alt country and rock & roll. As Cashbox Canada Magazine (2025) puts it, "they stake out solid ground as modern storytellers with an authentic voice and some vintage voltage".
