Presented by Van-Roc Interiors, April Wine officially kicks off the 2026 festival with a night of classic Canadian rock. Victoria’s own The Tumblin' Dice will open the show, bringing high-energy country and rock favourites to get the crowd warmed up.Formed in 1969, April Wine became one of Canada’s most successful rock bands, selling more than 20 million albums worldwide. Fans can expect to hear iconic hits like Roller, I Like to Rock, You Could Have Been a Lady and Just Between You and Me. The band has earned 11 Juno Award nominations and has been inducted into both the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
The Opening Weekend Concert marks the official start of the 2026 Parksville Beach Festival. A celebration of art, music and family fun set against the stunning waterfront backdrop of Parksville.
